Timing is everything when it comes to dance photography. As a professional dancer and dance model myself, I know how to catch your lines and help design poses that show you at your best — and I’m not afraid to jump in and demonstrate from time to time :)

The best dance photos are made when there is a dancer in front of the lens and a dancer behind the lens!

Rehearsal & Performance

Portraiture

Take the jitters out of audition photos.

College programs, summer intensives, company auditions — they all ask for the same thing. Headshots and dance photos. Especially our favorite, the first arabesque shot.

As a dancer, I can direct you to make technique adjustments from behind the camera. No need to guess and check! And no need to explain why the line of your foot is such an important part of your shot :)

Your audition is more than just your photo, but a handing in a great photo that you feel proud of can do wonders for your audition confidence! When I knew I loved my dance shot, I knew that the audition panel would remember me positively. I knew that when they looked back at my photo to remind themselves of what they saw me do in the studio, they would see someone who knew what they were doing and was invested in their performance career.

Your audition session is catered to you, your strengths, and your career goals.

“Nicole has a great amount of knowledge in both photography and dance which helped me get great pictures. She is also super nice and made me feel so comfortable and incredible during the shoot. She's efficient and a delight! Highly recommend!”
